Acoustically it's not a great place to put them.
If you're going to put tweeters in the centre console, you'll loose the stereo image that they'd produce if they were in the vent holes at either end of the dash. (It's the tweeters that handle most of the stereo information.)
Small full range speakers won't sound as good as one larger speaker (eg a coaxial 6x9).
If there's a specific reason you want a speaker in the centre console, you'll get better quality sound by cutting a bigger hole and using a bigger speaker.

This doesn't answer your question but ...

erm for a sound up front as well as having speakers in back i cant do speaker pods on dash rails as my legs are to big lol and i dont want to mess with the original vent holes so i fought center console would be alright if i used full range speakers

If you want to keep air vents as air vents, personally I'd use the dash vents for speakers and those in the centre console for air.
If you haven't got room for under dash pods, have you considered mounting speakers in the doors? You can buy ready made pods, or build them into door pockets.
If you want to be adventurous and don't mind tackling some fibre glass, have a look on the TalkAudio forum at what some of the ICE geeks build for dash mounting speakers. It's not as difficult as you might think if you're handy with a bit of DIY.
*On the question of whether or not you should be bothered about stereo image, this is my professional opinion as a someone who mixes sound for a living:
Most people don't notice stereo most of the time. If you're an audiophile, you'll notice more often. Most of the time listening to the radio or music is a secondary activity, as it is in the car, and as such you're more interested in content than quality. It's only when you stop to listen that you're likely to notice a difference. If you listen to sport or speach on the radio, you probably won't notice either way. If fitting two small speakers in the centre console gets the music you want in the simest way, go for it - it's your car. If you want better quality sound, have a look at other options for speaker location.

If you can, mount them higher than under the dash. I'm sure I've seen themn in the dash above and outside the vents.
If not there is an argument for mounting them horizontally above the dash so the sound reflects off the windscreen. It's not ideal but it'll be better than round your knees.
