Anyone else had any dealings with Custom Cages? we are building a 1275 GT race car, we got in contact with Custom Cages ordered what we needed and waited.......and waited......and waited after chasing them 3 times and waiting nearly 6 weeks it arrived, seeing as this was going in a show/race care we wanted it Tig welded for strength and looks

Craig the Tig welder arrives on Saturday and he reckons we will have it fitted in the day........magic

After 8hrs of measuring checking and messing about we have the main hope installed and the two 'A' post to main hoops fitted the main hoop was too short on one side so material had to fitted to square the frame up, the left hand front 'A' post to main hoop and some removed just so we could line it you then the real fun started the bar across the top of the screen didn't fit the dash rail didnt fit, the door bars didnt fit, every single part of the Custom Cage roll cage didnt fit

We phone them on Mondayat 12.15pm advised them of problems were told the gent that deals with problems was not in the office we then phone at 15.15pm same answer

we phoned Tuesday at 9.15pm same answer15.00pm same answer then late on we got a call back the guy we spoke to was of no use his answers he gave us were useless later that day we got more contact from the guy dealing with problems and his attiduted was that we must have done some thing wrong.... so far we have spent  two full days working on fitting this badly made roll cage at a cost of £15hr for the welder and £675 for the cage
