Hi.

Is draining the fuel tank on a 1994 SPi any different to an older model? Can I simply remove the pipe on the fuel filter and drain into a container under the car?

I have searched but didn't know if it was the same for my car compared to older models.

Thanks!
Cam.

It is but would be slow to drain as the fuel has to go through the pump to get out. Can you just siphon it out? If the pump still works you could put extra hose on filter outlet into drum and power up pump, this'll use pump to get fuel out. In this case just manually close points in pump relay and be aware it'll come out relatively quick.

The pump does indeed work, so I could just stick the pipe into a drum, and let the pump do the work.. That's perfect.

Thanks!

Cam.
