Had a go at making this today:

Presumably it's been done at home before but can't find it on the forum.

If you're interested, this is how I did it:

First of all I drilled the centre of the spring retaining cap from the inside with a 5mm drill bit then tapped it to 6mm.

After a thorough clean up I screwed a 6mm screw from the inside, a copper washer on the outside followed by three 6mm nuts (one to lock the screw in place after adjustment and two to lock together to turn the screw).

My freshly built engine was showing over 100 psi when cranking to get oil pressure the other day. My plan is to go back to the plunger type instead of a ball and use this to adjust it if necessary.

Hope this is okay (if not please tell me before I trash my engine).

Looks good to me but remember you will have cut you spring Down to get your optimum pressure cut it down a little at a time until you get it right.
