Hi All,

I have a new (to me!) Crypton ACT reader with a Rover MEMS card that I bought to test the electrics on my freshly restored 96 Cooper SPI.

When I hook it up and switch it on, I'm offered Tune and Test, both of which are procedures to follow but do not give me live sensor readings. I have read there is a separate card for reading live data, but I've also read that all Crypton ACTs can display live sensor readings (via component testing)?

The manual for the Rover MEMS card does not tell me how to access live data, if it is at all possible.

Does anyone know and can anyone help?

Thanks in advance.

So - it seems that the Rover MEMS ACS3 card for the Crypton ACT is the card of choice. Mine is an ACS1. So I'm guessing here lies my problem.

Actually, I do have the ASC3 card. So I guess my original question stands - does anyone know if there is a trick to viewing the live data?

Thanks in advance.

Hi is it a grey ACT? Or the RAC version? I'm guessing since ASC3 card it's an ACT.

I don't have one in front of me but after confirming the model (SPi with cat etc) there are options you step through for the components using f1.

I'll check when I am back home, did you get a instruction card with it?

It's a grey ACT.

It's at my dads, so I won't be able to try stepping through using f1 until Sunday.

I have a booklet for the Rover MEMS card - but I'm sure it does not mention how to do this.

Thanks for your help FlyingScot.

No problem, I'm at my workshop now so I'll dig out the instructions for tomorrow night and update.
I have several of these so I am sure we can work it out
