bit more info to my previous post this morning about relay module issue my good friend looked this evening for me and has gone thru mostly everything possible we have noticed that the ignition warning light and oil pressure light not working . there is plenty of battery life car turns over well but no sound when turning key from fuel pump this has been the issue since wiring in a cig lighter for charging phone etc . hoping its just a fuse that we cant find but looking for someone to put us on the right path poss relay module or hoping not the ecu ?? please any help on this is welcome as we are stuck many thanks in advance

"last night when wiring in a cig lighter for charging my phone etc after completing all work done the car will not restart. we have look at all obvious fuses etc and they seem ok im not a mechanic of any sort so I might be asking th e obvious but is the relay module gone or poss the ecu ? is there a easy fix to this or are we missing something else . any help on this would be greatfull as hoping to do a local mini run on thurs night ???????. many thanks in advance its a k reg 92 if this helps"

I think you should explain exactly how you wired in the cig lighter.

The wires on the back of the 24 slot fuse block are prone to corrosion, and can easily snap, or give intermittent power issues after they have been disturbed.   I'd check these as it's normally a few pump connector, or as on my recent spi was the power to the 5as unit.

it was connected to a permanent live wire by a multi plug to a wire to the steering column . brown and grey slate colour any help will be superb cheers
