Just got back from London after a great day at the motor show. Wondering around looking at amazing cars wishing the classic mini was there, and there it was......... the mini that was in the Marks & Spensors Advert. Also just around the corner was the orange mini that was featured in Augusts edition of mini world that is up for grabs.
I was happy.

Heres a few pics:

Ever seen an F1 car taken to pieces??

Took the artist 5 days and 5 nights to do this.

And a couple of concept cars

It has rear seat belts, and I think I see the catch for opening rear windows? Which means its post '76.

That's the Barabus TKR, 1000bhp, 0-60 in 1.67seconds, 270mph and £360k. Sounds a little too good to be true to me.

More info here..

Barabus TKR, not to be confused with Mercedes tuners.

boooo, larks
comes to mind the traction and control u would need to keep a car on the road to do that 1.67s would cost more than the 360k quoted for the car.

Went yesterday, and I too was pleased to see the Radford (for it was indeed their work) Mini.
I was also wondering a bit about its heritage, given the grille / rear screen combo - totally missed the lack of external hinges, duh! :ermm: (well they were camoflaged under all that foliage!)

Bargain of the show though if anybody is going, is on the Duke Video stand - they've got the Mini story DVD for £2.99! :P OK, so it's a bit dull in parts but it's worth three quid just for the in-car stuff, IMO.
I would imange those of you who've been involved in the scene for a while have already got it (half of you are probably IN it) but I was well pleased. :(
