Hi;

 

Just about to re-fit the old seat belt mounting pint onto my M-Machine Half Floor, looks like it needs to be spot welded and seam / lap welded on either upright side?

 

Should I mark where its going to fit and then drill some spot weld holes in the Inner Sill?

I weld on the outer side of the inner will and either plug weld or seam weld. A bit of both will not do any harm. Less cleaning up to do if you weld it all on the mounting plate side and not inside the car.

I thought M-machine panels came with a new seatbelt mounting point?

No the Half Floor just had a hole, maybe they forgot??
