I have a Yamaha Thunderace (YZF1000R) and have bought some "touring" clip on handle bars. They raise the height for more comfort, but like those found on a VRF800 or Triumph Sprint.
I have hit a wall in terms of fitting them. Well, its more the lining up and getting them drilled in the right place to accept the lugs on the switchgear etc. I just cant get them in the right position without one side hitting the fairing..!
I have new longer brake lines on order as this was a problem when I jacked the bike up and had the front wheel off the ground...
Does anyone know of any motorbike specialists that can help with the install?
