I was paying about 2k on my 1425!

That was with HIC, who dared to give me a quote, most others didn't!

Try Liverpool Victoria, Footman James, Graham Sykes, Performance Direct.

I've just renewed Huey with Adrian Flux at £238* fully comp, £200 excess and £4,000 agreed value. It's up a bit on last year but I did claim £900 repairs after an accident and I keep my 2 years' ncb.

* Bear in mind I must be classed as an old git now :(

The same happened to me when I was trying to insure my Clio!!

"Name/age/best quote?" "No carn't beat that mate" I just laughed and remined him that he hadn't even taken my car details expecting him to laugh back but he didn't and instead said "yeah mate I know, I won't beat it"

I just hung up! Fools!

Good news on your quote though!

£350 is the best, all they ask for is a copy of the receipt for the engine to say how much it was, 6 pics of the car, one from all angles the inside and the engine and some one like the chairman of my club (cheers alkan:lol:) to agree the value of the car...... so adrian flux might have another mini insured with them by me.... 998 mini van...... do you think they will take me on?
