Hi,

 

this is just a general wondering so don't attack me with questions :)

 

is it possible to put a custom pushrod suspension on a classic mini?

 

and did anybody try yet?

Yes(ish), Z cars do some kit.  It's getting as much towards fitting a Mini to a frame with inboard suspension.

IIRC that frame is for the rear-engined cars, no room for an engine in these

I had an amazing passenger ride in their type-r demo many years ago, rode really well for a lowered mini! Almost smooth!!!

that is basically what you say you are getting for your front subframe anyway. so you know it is.
