Hello Everyone,

Just a quick question, i bought a while ago a vacuum gauge to put in my mini, i'm planning on putting it in this weekend. I don't really know where the easiest place to connect it would be ? I know about the spacer for the inlet manifold but unfortunately i don't have time to get one.

Is there an easier place / pipe to connect it to on the carb ? I have a SU 2 carb

Thanks :)

There really isn't a suitable port on the Carb that you could connect it to. The spacer that has a port or if the there is a port on the Inlet Manifold are the ideal places to plumb it in to.

The easiest way to connect the gauge for most people is the manifold adapter that Chris mentioned above.

And grab some new carb/manifold gaskets when you get the spacer.

The vacuum advance port is on the other side of the throttle plate so the vacuum reading is wrong when the throttle is closed.
