I live on a street with speed bumps and my exhaust sometimes clips the bump. Is there anyway of lifting the exhaust, like using smaller straps?

It looks like there are just bands and they just link between the floor plan and the exhaust

If they're the rubber band ones that hang bits of about 8mm rod, just bend the rods to lift it up. Has yours got the big fiberglass cover between exhaust and floor? If so, it'll limit how far up you can get the exhaust to sit before it touches.

Just further on the rods, if you want to bend them, use something like a ring spanner or tube socket as extension. Bend the upper ones up and lower ones down evenly.

I haven't tried the poly ones but the MIGHT be stronger. You could try muffler shop, they usually have a million different shapes and sizes.

Well, a few at least. :-)
