I currently have fitted a DD needle in my SU HIF44 carb on my turbo engine. I need to get a thicker overall needle so my tuning guy can play around with it to get my muxture running a little leaner. Does anyone know which code i need? Rang Burlen but they were pretty unhelpful :|

I suggest you look at this site:

http://www.mintylamb.co.uk/suneedle/

Plug in the DD and then go to another needle selection spot and compare other needles till you find one. I have spent ages comparing needles for my HIF44 with swing needle, and found the ones I wanted using this site.

Happy hunting! :proud:

When comparing you'll need to type in BDD

Other 0.100 needles used in Metro HIF 44 with plenty of meat on them for thinning down are BER and BFZ.

Thanks for the reply. Which from BER and BFZ is the thicker? And i guess these are both thicker than BDD?
