I went for
998 +20
Twin 1 1/4 with vizard mods
12g202. Head
Freeflow maniflow

Just had it on the rolling road and got 59.2 bhp and 63.2 lbft.
Very happy with that.

Your specs do look like mine, apart from I'm running a 12G940 head and pocketed block. Running 10.5:1 CR and MED filter with trumpets.

I dont think so, was told 5 years ago that it was a 266 cam. But not sure.
Its doesnt tail off, check my graph on another post.

My 998 has the following upgrades;

Stage 1 Kit
HIF 38 Carb
Piper 255 Cam
Vernier Timing Kit
Electronic Ignition

It now runs 55bhp and it is very smooth and revvy!

Interesting. :) Do you have a print of it with the complete curve ? (including 5.500 -> 6.500 rpm). I'd like to see how it tails of compared to a std. cam.

Yep really was in mini world not long ago check out my build and spec list it is a mini 7 bottom end just different cam and head is a little special, with a weber would be nearer 90hp I'm told but don't want to cut bulkhead lol

Keith was telling me he did a small bore unit a few years ago with one of his cams and head and got 86bhp and 74lbs. Got me all excited it did.

I've got 1098 plus 10thou with a NA mg metro cam, slark 12G202 hif38. Cooper free flow manifold and single box maniflow exhaust and maniflow inlet. Haven't had it running yet, but should make a nice little motor in my estate
