Welding Companion Bin To Floor

I have just welded in a Companion Bin bottom repair panel. It's spot welded to the Inner Sill and seam welded to the Companion Bin.
Where it is supposed to be spot welded to the floor it's not a brilliant fit I.e. not flush so spot weldeing will be problematic.
How important is to weld spor weld the Companion Bin to the Floor and Heel Board.

Managed to get three decent Spot Welds along the base and three along the heel board.
The Inertia Reel in my Mini is in the Inner Sill so its just to hold the Seat Pan in place, seems nice and solid now, still got to do the other Companion Bin
Thanks

What I should have said was the seat belt attachment, my inertia reel is connected on the bottom side of the bin. Later models has it on the front of the bin

It was so long ago that we took the seat belts out I can't picture them in place.
There is a mounting point in the Inner Sill just in front of the Companion Bin and another on the tunnel in the middle of the car, these I take it are the main anchor points.
There is another (I think towards the top of the B Post) where I guess the belt loops through and then a hole in the front of the Companion Bin with a tubular insert in it that keeps rattling out. Is this where the Inertia Reel fits?
If so will the welding I have done so far suffice (Three along the bottom and three on the Heel Board) or should I stick in a few more?
