Hi!
Project rebuild is almost at the end. Getting some parts later ( oil filter to Block pipe and a distributer) later this week. Can i already install the primed oil pump and fit the engine? Or should i wait untill i have the oil pipe? Engine should be fired up around sunday.

Thanks!

Yes see no reason why not, if the pump is primed then fit the pipe and crank up oil pressure before starting

Then prime it later. Easy to do.

Or cover it with cam lube that will not drain back.
