Hi Folks just happened to be doing some research in to classic minis and came on this forum ,
I am not exactly in my first stage of youth having been retired for a couple of years, now seriously
looking to get back to something having been in car and truck game for 51yrs . Have over the years
restored a lot of vehicles started when serving my time on MGs TCs/TDs Magnets,last resto I did for
an old boss was a series 111 XJ six have also done a MK11 Jag.I last owned a mini 1293 GT 40yrs
ago DOT 445K affectionally Known as the Black dot. paid £100 for it as a third party write of put a
new front panel on repaired front wings fitted a set of 6x10 mamba wheels and rally special tyres
drove it for 2yrs and sold it for £450 those were the days!!! hard to buy one these days.
Would like to buy one to pass some of my experience on to my grandsons.
Been away staying in Cyprus for 2 yrs so out of touch with what Mini owners clubs and so forth do
