The oil dipstick in my Mini Cooper S (2005) has broken and I was wondering how do I go about getting a new dipstick??

It's not stuck in the engine or anything, so all I'm looking for is a replacement?

Any responses would be much appreciated.

Tom

I feel left out, 58 reg 35k miles still on its first, maybe its because I never check the oil?! We can thank the French for that stupid tube that goes around a bend to fit it in anyway, hence why French cars are banned at my house, lol.

The VW ones are better because they're easier to replace......only because the whole thing, tube and all, snaps off. Why would you make such rubbish, s'pose it suits the rest of the car. :-)
