What would you do if one crashed into you? Or you crashed into it?

Ask it to pull over and share insurance information lol

No road rage. Maybe there is phone number on the car for such event. When you dial a recording answers - "Press 1 if you hit the self driving car we would definitely like to hear from you, Press 2 if the self driving car hit you and it is not very urgent, Press 3 if the self driving car hit and killed you, Press 4 if you want to talk to a representative however be aware that all the representatives will be busy dealing with other mishaps, good luck with that".

I suppose if you don't know what to do, you could just Google the question.

The number you have dialed has not been recognised ;)

Google will have full footage of the accident, so a claim should be fairly straightforward. By and large, I'd actually have more faith in a fully developed and tested system than a human driver.
To date, they're claiming that all the accidents they've had have been down to human error and I suspect it's true as this is a massive PR issue for then. Erring on the side of safety will have been their biggest focus.

It's a silly idea to be honest.

There's already driverless cars in Milton Keynes, although the idea is nothing new as they have previously been disguised as taxis.

We've had driverless cars here for years......there might be someone in the driver's seat but they certainly aren't drivers.

Imagin what fun computor geeks will be able to have with these.

Surely all crashes caused by a driverless car is down to human error. A human programmed it so there must be an error in the programming to cause a crash. If the programming was perfect there would never be an accident.

What happens when they come across stuff like roadworks, pot holes and stuff on the road? Will they go around or just stop till someone comes to the rescue?
