Indicator Intermittent Fault

Everything's sorted now apart from the indicators which are hit and miss.
Sometimes (after using the hazards) the indicators work and sometimes they don't. It often depends on where the flashing sequence was up to on the hazards when I switched them off.
Does this sound like I need a new relay or could it be a dodgy earth?
Hope this makes sense.
Cheers,
Ian

I used to have a similar problem with mine, a light push on the Hazard switch and the indicators would work again. Changed the switch and Bobs yer auntie, all was good again.
Although now after yesterdays journey, my hazards seem to work at double speed, so guess my relay is playing up now!

How many relays do you have 2 or 4 ? as they are fused ones you should use 4 so if one fuse blows your not plunged in total darkness

I've got 3 at the minute - 1 for full beam, 1 for dipped and 1 for my new horns.
Should I fit 1 more to the dipped circuit - one for each side?
Cheers,

Guess it's the flasher unit, tried wiggling the switch, no joy. It does still seem to happen where the hazard flashing sequence is up to.

Added another relay to the circuit, so now I have one for each of the dipped headlamps.
