Torque Setting For Thermostat Housing Bolts?

The thermostat housing should have studs and nuts (5/16" UNF).

Just 'nip' them up by hand without distorting the gasket and it will be fine.

The A+ motors often have bolts fitted, but studs and nuts are better.

 

If you do refit thermostat bolts use copious amount of copper grease on the threads. Without grease they have a tendency to rust in and then shear when you try and get them back out a few years later...
