A Few Months a go I installed a 3 clock dash rather than the standard 2 clocks. On the day I fitted it, the rev Gauge didnt work, but then the next day, was working and has worked since.

Last week My Radio went off when ever I used the Wipers, then the wipers stopped working all together, at the weekend the Wipers started working again

This morning my Petrol Gauge wasnt working, on my way home from work, it started working again.

Are these Issues related?

The Car Is a 1993 Mini Sprite.

Since owning the car Ive Added a Power unit (12V socket & 2 USB Charging ports) A CD Player and 4 speakers.

Could I now be straining the battery, or need a better alternator?

Thanks

Is it struggling to start at all?
Anything struggle to keep power when other electrical goods are in use?

Could be a bad earth somewhere, it makes mini's do weird and wonderful things.

You wont be straining the battery, you need to look at each circuit and check the connections for a dirty loose/connection pay attention to the fuse box terminals in particular
