the time has come to fit my newly rebuilt engine, am wondering if you can give me any tips,

When I removed engine I popped out the drive shafts ( gear box end ) how easy is it to get the drive shafts back in ? Should I look to service cv joints prior to fitting engine ?

I loose plan is to ........
fit engine, with out mounts done up, (attaching spedoo cable before lowering )
Fit manifold, carb etc whilst engine will rock
Do up mounts
Attach relevant pipes

Start the f**ker up, any suggests ?

Remember to build up oil pressure before starting, and don't allow it to run rich.

Is the cam new? Make sure you follow instructions on bedding in. Check for coolant leaks etc
