SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD!!!!!

Here we have for sale a 998 + 30 thou re-bored A series engine and gearbox, that makes it approx 1021cc, it comes with a 12G202 cylinder head, so it also has larger valves too.

The engine has been run since it was re-built by the previous owner, but it's not done many miles by the look of it, the bores appear almost as new!

I was told by the guy I bought it off it had been completely re-built, but I have no way of proving this except for the condition of the bores, (see photo's) I really does look like he was telling the truth, the clutch plate is also fairly new.

Offers around £225  Buyer to collect from Sutton Coldfield.

Please note this is an A series, not an A plus!

The engine number plate had been removed prior to my ownership, but this may have been down to having the deck re-surfaced.

What liners? Do you mean the cylinder bores? if so they are very good.

The gearbox I know nothing about except what the guy I bought it off told me, and so far I've had no reason to doubt his word, it's had a new clutch Plate, a water pump, and has been re-bored not very many miles ago for sure.

By the looks of it, it needs the head putting back on, a Dizzy, Starter, Alternator, Fan belt, Radiator, Hoses, ect... All the things you'd already have if you had a knackered engine in your Mini!
