I was going to rebuild my yellow tag master cylinder as it has started to leak and I was losing pedal. I have taken it of and removed circlip and taken out the first part of the master but can't remove the top part. Am I missing something that holds it in or will it just be stuck from dirt and rust? Thanks

I think they are similar to the Green Tag ones.

You need to remove the Plastic Tank, where the seal is for the upper part of the cylinder, there is a pin, a little hard to see, but you need to remove that to release the upper piston.

Here's an exploded diagram of the Green Tag MC, the pin is shown as A

Wow!  This explains why I can get out the top piston >_<  I guess maybe I shouldn't feel so bad, I'm not the only one that couldn't figure it out :whistling:
