Random question. Does anyone know what the boost ratio of the later (dual circuit) brake servo is? I know the mk3 single line was 1.9:1. Thanks.

It'll be similar, 2.1 sticks in my mind, but that might be the Metro's. All other things being equal, the remote servo will lose a bit of force due to having the pushrod running through the hydraulics and reducing the piston area offered to the master cylinder. Like the brake intensifier on a 998 Cooper, but in reverse.

I seem to recall that the Cooper S Servos were 1.7:1. Given the dia of the diaphragm of the booster in question, it would likely be less than this figure.

Okay thanks. Was considering going to the tamdem servo as part of a rebuild having previously had a remote and trying to work out likely effect given boost ratio, increased bose size etc.
