Are these suitable replacements for the glass fuse holders behind the air filter? I want to keep the original spec glass fuses.

I only ask because isn't 22 AWG quite thin wire? The fuses are 10/15A I believe.

22awg (americian wire gauge) has a max of 7amps so yes it is quite small wire
You could use what the wire is more commonly listed as now
0.5mm 16/0.20mm Thin Wall Cable
Nominal Current Rating: 11.0 amps Side and tail lights, horn etc
1.0mm 32/0.20mm. 16.5 amps.Side and tail lights,horn etc
This is more like the fuse holders used on classics http://www.vehicle-w...dge-fuse-holder
and if you need a slightly bigger gauge wire, unsolder the top hat contact whip a 2mm drill through the plastic body where the wire comes in, resolder the new wire reassemble, Tailor the holder to the job, done it loads of times, just make sure the outer sheath of the wire is free to slide in the hole so the spring can pre-load the fuse against the contact faces

i know you want to keep the glass fuses but i'll slot this in here maybe for your thoughts or others to think about.
I replaced the fuse holders with blade type holders and then used these auto reset circuit breakers. Manual resets are available too.

There is lots of information available on here already about why blade fuses are not a direct replacement for the glass cartridges.

There is the original fuse holder, for crimping directly onto the wiring using non-insulated connector type crimping tools. This is the only place I know of to get them from.

Good find!!! However I have already found and ordered some glass fuse holders with 20A wire attached. I will keep those in mind for next time though.
