its not just you, happened to me yesterday too. i was going along the road behind a taxi who was turning left into a minor road so i went to around him and as i did some friggin idiot in a 206 decided to go from the minor onto my road right infront of me! i smacked the brakes on and stopped dead! (i was doing about 36 and stopped instantly! good ol' drum brakes!

i find that happening quite a lot, you find other drivers have difficulty seeing you if your behind someone else as the car is sooo small its just over-shadowed by the one infront! glad your OK though! did you go over a kerb or anything? check your ball joints etc if you did because my mum hit a kerb going around a roundabout and snapped her ball joint and roll bar end (in an 18,000 mile Clio!) the other week!
But don't let this experience scare from driving your mini, dude!

RANT nearly over
One more. Rush hour kinda times have you noticed how people just look forward. They have a mission to get home on record time after the amazingly stressed day they have had picking up the phone. Just don't care about anyone else.
And..........................that rant over. Tell you what feel sooooo much better now

Sorry but "SPACKHEAD" is offensive first of all...
sorry to anyone who finds that offencice but it dosent mean to be directed at anyone impitullar, its how i feel towars myself, its in my sig so it is about me, sorry if anyone has taken it the wrong way.
also the cheek of the guy was 'you should be doing the speed limit' i was doing 30 in a 30, because my wheels are soo skinny i got no grip. iv been having such a bad time atm i jsut said that, and drove off. it was crasy but shows me the beating a mini can take. i bounced sideways over one of those trafic islands, lucky no1 was in the way and nothing was there.

Couldnt agree more with that, but lets not forget the people that drive at 55ph in the middle lane of the motorway during rush hour and dont think to look at the inside lane when they eventually move over to it !

Very true. Maybe thier necks stop working after 5pm and they can't turn to look. Plus do they think it's safer for them to sit in the middle lane??? I knew people once that said they stayed in the middle lane so when they come up to junctions they don't have to move over!!!!! They were old driving instructors too!!!!! My god we're all doomed....

Then when it came to me meating traffic ahead, i slowed down in plenty of time, dropped behind him, and moved to middle lane. Straight after he had over taken the lorry, he moved to inside lane, at bout 60 again.
I feel i proved a point that day, and he learnt his lesson!
Still think its a shame i didnt stop him comming off the motorway at the junction he had wanted to!
