Hi put this in general help before.

Can anyone recommend the BEST workshop manual for an MPI,thanks.

you'll need a couple, the later rover manual including the wiring diagrams and the electrical library for the MPI specific side of things and an earlier manual for the more general things that are common to almost all minis that the later manual doesn't cover in great detail.

I have a handful of manuals but wondering the same but for the SPi mini. The blue covered Haynes does an ok job of covering it but there are plenty of things left out.

Light blue or dark blue? The later dark blue one has more on SPi.

light blue i think I have Haynes and the two rover workshop manuals for the 92-96 and the 5th edition MPI one.......... TMF....valuable information.....also depending on what your doing, bill sollis engine build guide, minimania's build and gearbox guide on youtube paired with guessworks videos also.

Fossy where do you gt the 5th edition MPI manual.

The one I have is 371 pages. There are places that will print out these docs for you for a small fee and bind it :) I did it to the old Rover T series manual a few years ago. If you have a tablet you can download the PDF and store it there.
