Might be considered a bodge now but that was a very popular fix in the late 1960's and onwards! Certainly not as much of a bodge as over sills.

The lad who owns the wrapped one is in Norfolk MOC, is a bit of a state now, he's also removed the baffles out of a twin dtm, so is LOUD!

So is looking more bubble wrapped, than carbon wrapped.

Watching the 68 episode now. 'Just surface rust...' Points at sills and calls them subframes - hmmm.

But he paid £300 for it!
