my Mk4 has lovely? black plastic 'Leyland' arches but sadly, due to the offset of my Mille Miglia 10"s, they protrude by 1cm at the rear.
could replace rear drums with non-spacered at that would be it! Like the current stance.
I have a set of 3,5 x 10's that I get out for the MOT (Belgian) every year, so it's not really an issue there.
But the arches are so god damn horrible, I'm thinking of upgrading & everything would be lovely.....
Just love the W&P-like arches in 2,25" and 2,5" on minispares site:
Don't want to go to a bodyshop (cost), so would I be able to fit either of these, whereby the existing holes would be covered by the new arches.? Would obviously address the old holes, so as not to have rust coming
back.
