Hi, just wondering if anyone has used the m-machine front apron panel 51.18.01.00 on a MK1 S. The front apron on my car is a later version and must have been put on after front end damage. I am doing a full restoration and want to put the correct front on. It is near impossible to get new old stock here in Australia and when asking around for a second hand panel to cut off a car it was suggested this m-machine panel may be the way to go. It would be possible to do a lot of work on what I have to modify it but just looking at the options to work out what is best. The differences are highlighted in this picture. I would appreciate seeing a picture of the panel on a car if anyone has used one. Thanks, Jim.
