Has anybody come across this problem before ? Could it just be the gasket ? When the engine is running I can feel air coming from part of the pump is this normal ?

It was coming out as a fine mist, my mate driving behind flashed me to pull over as his windscreen was getting oily!

I assumed the diaphragm was at fault, however the pump was working fine with no petrol leaking...bizarre
