Bought a couple of CV joints from minispares and they are already filled with grease, do I need to put more grease in the boot or is it OK as is?

It depends on how much grease they have on them. There is a vitrectomy amount that should be used and the boot should not be full anyway.

Generally, when they are pre-greased and capped off in the box, and there's not another packet, then that's all you need.

I would add some more looks like there is hardly any in there.

Is it not bad practice to mix grease?

But cv grease sound all be the same spec anyway. Don't pack the boot it is not needed and can expand and blow the boot of the ties and end up all over the brakes.

If it was mine, I'd fit shaft in, it might move some around, and then see How it looks. I tend to put about two table spoons extra for boot area. Centrifugal force will eventually push grease to outer edges so doesn't just stay where you put it.

OK, here's the factory advice and info;-

There's more grease in there than first meets the eye.

Don't over pack it - it will make a mess and potentially affect your brakes (if you have discs).

And don't use the stupid cable ties, put the proper clips on and save the cable ties for tying up your girlfriend.

I've spent the last hour trying to find information from the manufacturer of the bearing to see what they say but couldn't find any. I did find information from another manufacturer (skf) who say if they are pre-greased then there's no need to add more. I think I'll leave it as is, I have to assume that the manufacturer knows the correct amount of grease needed and will have provided that amount. I might add a small amount.
They came with proper clips so I'll definitely use them.

That's absolutely fine. Any excess will be flung out into the boot. Putting extra grease into the rubber boot is futile as this never gets onto the tracks and balls.
So you are right to carry on.
The last ones I bought from Minispares were like that and are just fine
