Hi,

I've put the callipers and the pads on to the mini today and I was surprised how loose one side of the pads were. You can see the gap (open and closed) in the photos. Is it right?

And the piston will move to take up the gap.

Sounds silly, but did you press the pedal after fitting the new parts? :shy:

Hi,

I didn't press the pedal as the system isn't a full circuit yet and doesn't have any fluid in it.

I will measure the thickness of all four of them compare. There was nothing obvious about them when I unpacked them.

The pads will feel a bit loose until you press the pedal, because the piston is all the way back. Once you press the pedal the pads should sit in the correct place. Build up the system first and try it. :highfive:
