I'm looking at buying a set of 10" rose petals.
The only problem I'm having is the difference between minispares, midland wheels, minisport and Huddersfield spares.
Has anyone had an experience they can share, not sure why the prices vary alot between them companies? Quality maybe?

The minispares/swiftune ones are FIA historic approved by looking at their website. The others all come from Midland wheels

Hi everyone.

Personally, go for the Minispares ones. Yes they are more expensive than the Huddersfield ones, but in my opinion, tonnes more worth it! I have the Minispares ones, and compared to the cheap copies, the difference is like night and day. The copies don't tend to have the proper correct satin Black finish like the Minispares ones do. Plus the Minispares ones have the correct machined alluminium lip to which I'm sure the copies have a polished lip (could be wrong there). I personally don't like the copies at all, the Minispares/Swiftune ones are designed to the exact specifications as the original Vortz and Cooper Car Co. ones, so if you're going for that period look, they'd be the ones I'd get :) wrapped in a set of period look Dunlop R7's and you're onto a winner! I'm still saving for my Dunlops lol.
Rose Petals in my opinion are the best wheels made for a Mini! I'll post a pic of mine if you want to see what they look like properly

Timmy850 thanks for the advice, iv also just asked Simon from minispares and he confirmed what you two both said. The wheels from them are FIA approved, exact spec to original even down to the paint finish.

Sure thing :) they're not fitted yet hence the pics of them on my bed lol. I would take better ones for you but they're currently at my lockup!
