Guys

Just been fitting the baffle plate on my r1 engine, do we all just hope that this combats starvation issues as you loss the oil light switch in the sump!

I am fitting a accusump and have ditched the oil to water cooler in favour of an oil thermostate and oil to air cooler and fitting a pressure sensor in the housing prior to the thermostate.

This the route most have taken?

I fitted what looks like the same baffle plate to mine. I am running the standard R1 setup plus a mocal 13 row oil cooler. Did a track day at Mallory Park the other week which I think has the longest corner of any UK circuit, entry speed around 85mph exit around 95mph and had no oil starvation issues. i`ve done a trackday at Rockingham since then and the motor is still running well.
