The drive for an A series engine is different to an A+ and will not fit in an A+ motor
Depending upon the type of dizzy you have purchased, 25D or 45D you can swap the internals of an A series dizzy into an A+ dizzy therefore making an A+ version, but a better alternative is to just buy an A+ dizzy.
If you bought it new I would contact the company you bought it off, they may swap it for an A+ and if your lucky may cost nothing or only a restock fee.

You can swap the Drive Dogs on the Dissys over.
I do recall looking at machining up an A Drive to fit in to an A+ Block and I seem to recall the A Drive is just simply too short to do the job.
