Hi all,

I have a smiths vacum gauge but the face it faded. Can the faces be replaced, if so does anyone know where from as I can't find any anywhere??

If not, what paints are used to paint them if I am to refurb it.

Many thanks,

Graham

There's plenty gauge restorers around. Wouldn't cost much to post to where ever their workshop is.

Smiths vac guages crop up on fleabay fairly regulalry - generally topping out at about £40 for a decent one.....grab a better example from there, recycle yours same way and I'd bet you won't be too much out of pocket! - cheaper than hunting down someone to refurb anyway........
