I have a 1979/80 mini 998. My hazard lights are flashing normally but my indicator lights are just constantly on (working but not flashing) when in use. I think the flasher unit is faulty. I think Both of mine are in the engine bay (by the screenwash bottle). See photo. I think the one in my hand is the faulty indicator flasher and the lucas behind is the hazard flasher. Am i correct? What is the part number for indicator flasher? Any help will be much appreciated.

I would pull it off and give the connections a good clean, looks a bit crusty.

When in doubt, turn the hazard lights on (since you say they are working) and put your finger on each of the two flasher units.  You will be able to feel mechanical ticking from the flasher used for the hazard lights.

I swapped mine for electronic units and the flash is much more constant.

I bought square ones from China as I am a cheapskate but the ones below look good.
