Hi,

I've got grey belts and I want black ones. Has anyone tried to dye the belts? If so, how did it come out?

Cheers,

Rod

I would buy black ones

I wouldn't want to chance having a big black line left across your chest haha

I've never heard of having seat belts dyed (I don't think it's a thing, but I could be wrong?), the best thing to do is either buy new ones or have them wrapped.

We have used these guys in the past (very good service):

Hope that helps.

Doesn't work, tried it last week. The polyester webbing can't take the dye. Actually ended up giving them two light coats of rattle can black paint, then once they dried I had to fold and bend them to get the polyester webbing flexible again! It worked ok, if I wasn't so tight with the cash then I'd buy new ones but these are for the rear so will hardly get used and the ratchet brake was working perfectly so decided it'll do.
