Simple one, I need an oil cooler. I bought one before and attempted to fit it but dicieded against it as I struggled to find room/suitable place to fit one.

Now I need one and I was hoping to see some pics/descriptions of where yours are squeezed in.

Cheers!

Yes please. When you say minor mods, do you mean cutting the front panel ?

What size cooler are you using? And how do you mean you modified the filter housing

Are you sure you need one? Do you have an oil temp gauge that is telling you that the oil is getting too hot? Is it a standard engine or overbored / tuned in some way?

Tuned up reving it to 6.5k. Oil hit 135 on m1 and just shy of 120 when I go for a drive

I'm using this one.

I'm using the billet filter mount and took a few mm off mounting face, then a bit off the front. I've fitted a smaller diameter but longer filter.

Impressive Peter. I rang DSN today to order a 10row cooler and after telling him the temps my oil was getting to he wasnt sure but didn't think the temps were anything to worry about. I'm using millers CTV 20 50 so I rang their helpline who also said thoes temps were fine with that oil. Starting to wonder if I really do need one after all. Some say yes, others say no and others say why are you using 20 50 and not 10 40 oil. I don't know what to think anymore!!!!!
