Earlier today I removed the interior, the floorpan was better than I expected.

Hopefully get it going and up on a ramp to have a look.

Cheers fella's!

I don't suppose it 's the worst one out there but it certainly needs a lot of attention!

Starter had died so got a replacement

Clutch pedal was solid so had to use a hammer and crowbar/WDfarty combo to loosen the clutch arm off - obviuosly the clutch was seized on. Has moved backwards & forwards 3ft either way so that's encouraging.

Can anyone tell me what this multiplug is/was/should be for?

It was down by the starter motor, must be a reason for it but I can't see anything Or am I being a true thickie?

After getting the interior out we got him up on the ramp for a proper look and poke with some large screwdrivers lol

Other side feels very crusty and pushed a bit through but tank needs to come out either way.

I hope so gents!

Is there such a thing as a repair panel for the front sill to arch area, you know the whole corner?

As the N/S/F sill to arch photo above, or is it just a case of making it up with steel?

Trying to persuade the Mrs that we should ditch the Webasto sliding roof and weld on a tin top, it's my opinion that the Webasto is the Achilles heal of Gordon..

Her opinion is that he is a (sort of) ltd edition and the Webasto is part of his character.

She got him with just 9,000 miles on the clock about 2001/2002, so it's understandable that having had him for such a long time that she would like to keep him kind of original.

A new Webasto is a lot of money though, and I don't trust the cheaper ebay replacements - unless anyone can vouch for them?

Yeah, I seem to remember they were around £1000 - £1200 about 6-7 years ago.

A bump for this question
