Okay, it's been a while....
A friend of mine runs a small, rural garage, he's quite compotent at doing your average MOT style patch repair but not a professional welder or car restorer - he's doing it at mates rates as and when around other jobs - which suits us fine as long as the major rot is cut out and fresh metal is let in and Gordon is solid again (if he ever was?)

This is the N/S

And from inside,

Both rear arch tubs had holes in the top, obviuosly tank out and sorted.

Plugged from outside, nice and slow trying to keep under the plastic arch lip so were not ruining the paint too much?

The lower rear panel was virtually falling off so that was replaced

Few holes in the spare wheel well, lots of surface here and there, battery tray etc, cleaned up, seam sealed and primered

O/S getting a tidy up too

Still loads to do, loads to buy, hopefully be done for spring??

Amazingly quick service from minispares ![]()

Ordered a new battery from the local motor factors but can only get Yuasa (or something scary) can no longer get hold of the Bosch silver apparently.
Anyway, I hope to get down to my mates place and have another go at Gordon the green mini soon.
