evening all,

I have got the delux carpet set from somerford, it does not have a hole for gear stick, so I assume I will have to cut it myself, just wondering if anybody has had any experience in this or have any advice??

used the search menu but could find a guide or anybody else asking the same question!

thanks in advance,

Dan

i measured back from the cross member on the car to where the gearstick is. then measured the same distance back on the carpet and cut the appropriate size hole.

Thanks superdeluxnick! Next question the locking rails for the front seats are they bolted down and the carpet cut around it or is the carpet fitted and then bolted on top?

no, i cut literally 2 lines just so they can poke through and the carpet seats neatly around them, if you have your old carpet, put that on top of the new one and mark where holes are?

Re gear lever, obviously remove knob, do as Nick says but just cut a small X in the carpet so it can pass over the lever, to confirm you got it right. I then trim in situ.
Or take the gaitor and lever off...5 mins
