Easiest Way To Set Dizzy Drive Gear

Whats the easiest way to accurately set the dizzy drive gear as I removed it when I removed the cam. The haynes manual seems a little confusing.. thanks

Ignore the first bit about pulleys, the core info applies to A's as much as B's

Thanks just saw your message, I ended up setting 1 and 4 to TDC untill I could rock both tappets on 1 then inserted the dizzy drive horizontally with the big part at the top and it meshed in at 2 o'clock, does that sound right?

Yes,

 

Take care to match up the dizzy correctly with the offset slot ("big half, little half") and the rotor arm pointing at the appropriate plug lead post, No 1 cylinder, will confirm it.
