Hello people, how much does it roughly cost to get your head ported and polished and where is the best place to take it to? Im in Manchester

It's a massively open ended question to be honest.

You're unlikely to get a modified cylinder head from a reputable tuner for less that £600.

It all depends on the spec of then engine it's destined for really.

Thanks guys I have inboxed Turbo Phil. What we want to do is get more power out of the 998 engine, it already has a stage 1 kit on and been told port and polishing will be good for extra power

My head from phill looks lovely, I just haven't bolted it on yet.

 

He's only just up the M6, so not a million miles away

I got 64bhp out of mine, it drove lovely

Wow when i got the car it was at 35bhp what did you do to yours coopdog?

12g295 head with bigger valves, ported and polished

998 +60 so 1046cc

Mg metro cam

28/36 weber
