One of 5 1800's prepared by Abingdon Special Tuning for privateers on the 1970 daily Mirror World Cup Rally. This one was "The Beauty Box" sponsored by Woman magazine.
The official BL works entries were Triumph 2.5 Pi's.

What is not generally known is that on that World Cup Rally a lot of crews carried hand guns hidden under the dashboards.
