Hi all, I know I need to drill out spot welds as I'm planning on repairing the bins to keep the mini as original as possible but what size spot weld drill do I need to use? It's a 1979 mini 1000 😃

Don't forget the slug weld between the rear arch and the back edge of the companion bin

Cheers guys, still not sure on what size spot drill. I only have one and it's too big. I'll call into my local motor factors to check out the sizes

cheers matey. That's going to be my job tomorrow getting the companion bins out. Then next week I'll be welding in the bracing I made a bit of a mess with the repairs I did to the boot floor. Mainly down to my welding and rushing the jobs. I'll be mainly using my spot welder on the sills
